As the world's population rises, so does the demand for food. Currently, methods of food production such as livestock farming are problematic. With risks such as global warming present, there needs to be another source of food that is sustainable and environmentally friendly, without sacrificing nutritional content. Algastronomy proposes algae as a versatile, carbon-neutral, and sustainable food source with great untapped potential in its culinary usage, promoting it through the medium of collaborative social media content creators.
